Steve finds an empty strip of strong pain killers in Cassie’s cardigan pockets. When Steve tells her their relationship is over and Tyrone throws her out, has Cassie burned her last bridge in Weatherfield?
DEBBIE HAS ONE DRINK TOO MANY
Sally suggests to Tim they throw a garden party. Having just returned from her holiday, Debbie tells them to count her in. Bernie, Christina, Debbie, Fiz, and Mary gather in the back garden, where Sally unveils her new pizza oven and orders Tim to fire up the hot tub. While the women tuck into pizza and cocktails, Tim approaches, but a confused Debbie fails to recognise him and accuses him of “perving” at them in their swimsuits. Mary gently explains who he is, leading a mortified Debbie to apologise and declare she is going teetotal.
BETSY’S CONFRONTED WITH HER NEW REALITY
Lisa helps a fragile Betsy out of the car and into the house. Lisa, Carla and Ryan do their best to appear upbeat as they show Betsy how they’ve made a bed up for her in the living room but a dejected Betsy asks Lisa to contact the fashion college and let them know that she won’t be going.
ELSEWHERE Nina accuses Sienna of stealing her cash, who is horrified and labelling Nina a jealous ex, storms out. Is Nina right?
