Still hanging at Salt, Levi explains his reasoning for wanting to keep an eye on Mackenzie. Listening, Mackenzie tells him she understands, but she really is fine, and he needs to find someone else to play with. Reluctantly accepting, and clearly unsure how to fill his day, Levi heads to the hospital, attempting to rope Dana in for a coffee and chat. Busy working, Dana initially declines, but when she senses Levi is feeling down, she makes time to catch up. Opening up, Levi explains that with Mackenzie back at work, he’s feeling a little lost. And as Dana continues to dig, the pair get to the root of the issue: Levi didn’t just lose his wife when he and Imogen separated, he lost his entire friendship circle too. Hearing this, Dana poses a simple solution: Levi has to make some new friends! Unsure, Levi ponders.
With Beau pushing for some one-on-one time, Harper drops Archie with Tane before heading home to hang out with Beau. But when Beau struggles to find Harper in the house soon after, he panics, heading out to look for her. Finding Harper, who had simply ducked out to grab coffees, a stressed Beau explains to her how worried he was. Thrown, Harper apologises for leaving unannounced, which prompts Beau to suggest they download tracking apps for their phones so they can always locate each other. Unsure, Harper tries to fob the idea off, but as Beau repeatedly pushes, she begins to feel the pressure. Unease growing, Harper lies to Beau so she can meet Dana in private – wanting to discuss her tracking app reservations. But as Harper offloads to Dana, she begins to wonder if she’s overreacting, and perhaps she should just download the app?
Asked to mind Archie while Tane takes a shower, Remi feels wildly out of his depth. But when Tane returns moments later with Mackenzie, who’s dropped in to visit, they catch Remi in full babysitting mode – giving Archie a music history lesson while playing a toy drum. Amused and embarrassed, Remi takes his leave, as Mackenzie reunites with Archie, having not seen him since the loss of her baby. Mindful, Tane checks in to make sure Mackenzie’s okay. And as she smothers Archie with joy-filled kisses, it’s clear she is, which opens the door for a heart-warming and high-spirited day of play for the trio. Refreshed and rejuvenated, Mackenzie then reconnects with Levi, apologising for throwing him out of Salt earlier. Understanding, and happy to have received some great advice from Dana as a result, Levi is quick to forgive, which leaves the loved-up pair in a great place.
Seizing a moment alone with Beau, Sonny asks for more steroids, explaining he’s good for the money – he just can’t pay right now. Unwilling to supply on credit, Beau refuses the deal, which sees a desperate Sonny hustling to change his mind. But when Beau holds a hard line, Sonny realises there’s no use, and decides to confront another challenge: contacting Remi after their recent fallout. As the pair meet in Salt, Sonny apologises for his actions (asking Eden for money), genuinely hoping they can bury the hatchet. But as Remi heads to the bar, Sonny spots Remi’s wallet on the table. Desperate for drug money, Sonny then does the unthinkable… stealing his best mate’s credit card!
