It’s the day of weddings as Cindy and Max, and Kim and Howie prepare to say, ‘I do’. Unbeknownst to Cindy, Max has gone AWOL, and the family panic as they secretly try to track him down. Cindy is upset to discover that most of Walford are opting to attend Kim and Howie’s wedding over hers.
Meanwhile, a hungover Max heads to Peacock Palace to speak to Linda, but an argument erupts between the pair when it’s revealed that Max has been having an affair with Priya. Max heads to the car lot where he finds Priya, but she’s furious to discover that he’s told Linda. The pair argue, but Lauren arrives and overhears it all and refuses to attend the wedding.
Max heads home, where he faces the wrath of Jack and Oscar, but the pair manage to get Max to the wedding venue on time. Max and Cindy prepare to say their vows, but Linda and Priya soon arrive…
Kim is sad that Denise can’t attend her wedding but is buoyed by a gesture from Howie. At the community centre, Kim is visibly upset seeing Denise on a video link, and Howie makes a last-minute change of plan to the proceedings…
Zoe helps Kat with Tommy and reveals that he’s worried about seeing Joel. Kat decides to skip the weddings to spend some quality time with Zoe at The Vic. Kat persuades Yolande to talk to Patrick about accepting Jasmine. Just as things are looking up for the family, Tommy steals a bottle of vodka from the barrel store and heads off to get drunk in secret.
