Hayley is disgusted when Ger reacts unbothered by the fact that she had to clear Scout’s bank account to make payment. Emma is disappointed when James tells her to cancel the restaurant she had planned for Scout’s birthday, telling her they’re going to attend Sharon’s party instead.
Hayley is hurt when she overhears Rafferty and Emma remarking that she’s foolish for taking James back after the fake affair.
Carol becomes suspicious when JJ is continuously distracted by his phone. JJ plans to meet a man with an envelope of cash. JJ takes Lorcan for driving practice, but Lorcan is taken aback when he sees JJ make a dodgy looking deal with the envelope.
JJ asks Lorcan not to say anything to Carol. Carol presses a quiet Lorcan after returning from his drive with JJ, but Lorcan doesn’t reveal anything.
Hughie is grateful when Lily steps in to help write his speech for Kevin’s wedding. Lily encourages Hughie to keep it light and funny, but Hughie feels guilty not commenting on his absence from Kevin’s life for the last few years.
Melanie is stung when Zoe makes a catty comment about Lily being a proper friend to Hughie, unlike Melanie. Melanie insists on helping Hughie with his speech.
