ROSS MAKES IT KNOWN WHO’S BOSS In the cell, Gary notices a gash on Marco’s arm. Marco plays it down but Gary’s suspicious. Summer is upset when she and Maria arrive at the prison when the guard tells her Marco won’t come out of his cell. Maria begs Gary not to get involved when he tells he is worried Marco is getting bullied. Summer finds Ross in the Rovers and is grateful when he says he will keep an eye on him. Ross tells Marco he’s put his name down for a cleaning job to keep him occupied. Ross finds Marco alone in his cell. What does he want?
CAN IDRIS SABOTAGE CARLA’S DEAL Idris hears Carla talking to Lisa about an important meeting at the hotel. Carla and Michael are pleased with how the meeting is going but as the client heads to the loo Idris stops him. What has he got planned?
IS THE PEN MIGHTIER THAN THE SWORD FOR DANIEL? Daniel calls at No.1 and tells Ken he’s submitted his article to the Gazette and he’s waiting to hear. Over lunch with the family, Daniel reveals that the Gazette has been in touch and they’re publishing his article. Ken’s delighted whilst Adam and Alya mask their guilt.
ELSEWHERE Christina frets about Rachel, convinced that Richie is the real villain of the piece. George advises her to sit back and let the police do their job. Christina shows George a letter she’s written to Richie in the hope that he’ll allow her to visit so that she can find out what sort of man he really is.

BRODY DAMPENS CARLA’S SPIRITS An intrigued Idris listens in as Carla confides in Lisa at the cafe that she will have to cancel the Christmas bonus and she needs to get the current order out on time if she is to save the factory. Carla breaks the news to the devastated staff that she is struggling to keep the factory afloat. Idris meets up with Brody at the rear of the factory and handing him a lighter, tells him he’s got a job for him. What has he got planned?
Brody lets himself into No.4 and steals Sally’s set of factory keys. Checking the coast is clear, Brody lets himself into the deserted factory unaware he is being watched by Leanne. Sally finds Carla and Lisa in the Rovers and tells them that the factory alarm is going off. What has Brody done?
BATTLELINES ARE DRAWN BETWEEN ADAM AND DANIEL Alya assures Summer that Adam is all set for Marco’s appeal. Having discovered Adam and Idris’ involvement in the sale of the school land a furious Daniel confronts Adam who explains that he couldn’t afford to turn down the business. Ken and Amy are horrified to find Daniel and Adam fighting in the street. Tyrone pulls the men apart. When Adam reveals that he’s due in court, Tyrone points out that he can’t go in a ripped suit covered in blood. At the court, Alya and a jittery Summer wait for Adam. Adam races into court to find Summer deeply upset.
MARCO TRIES TO BE HONEST WITH GARY In their cell, Gary tells Marco how Ross inferred that Maria is having an affair. Marco asserts that Ross is a wind-up merchant and it’s best to ignore him.
ELSEWHERE On the street, Chesney blanks Tyrone. Tyrone’s hurt but Fiz reckons he deserves it. In the shop. In a bid to placate Fiz, Ross advises Tyrone to be the bigger man and apologise again. Tyrone begrudgingly agrees. At No.7, Bernie fusses over Kit and insists he has a nutritious breakfast. Kit feels suffocated.

CARLA CAN’T “INSURE” THE FUTURE OF THE FACTORY At Speed Daal, an angry Leanne confronts Idris and Brody and reveals that she saw Brody breaking into the factory.
Carla tells the shocked workers that she has no option to shut the factory and can only pay them one month’s wages. Meanwhile a remorseful Brody is disgusted that Leanne and Idris seem unconcerned about the factory having to close and all the staff being out of a job.
DEV’S FIGHTS BERNIE’S CORNER Kit feels like a charity case when Lisa gives him a man’s pamper hamper and his mood isn;t improved when he arrives home to discover Gemma and Bernie discussing the BRCA gene again.Sensing that he could do with a break, Dev suggests they go for a curry and Kit’s grateful. Will Dev’s pep talk about cutting Bernie some slack for being over protective help?
GARY TRIES TO CONFRONT PRISON BULLY ROSS Summer visits Marco and tells him he is lucky to have Ross on his side, Marco covers and nods in agreement. Ross pays Marco a visit and, spying a card from Summer card, picks it up and rips it to pieces. Having discovered an upset Marco Gary lambasts Ross but he is dismissive and makes it clear that he calls the shots.
ELSEWHERE When Ronnie reveals that he’s due at a support group meeting later, Debbie announces that she’d like to go with him.

KIT HITS BREAKING POINT An exhausted Kits ignores Lisa’s advice to go home but when a distressed woman in the waiting room has a coughing fit all over him he loses his temper. Having seen the exchange Kirk comforts the woman before telling Bernie, Brody and Dev about Kit’s behaviour. Brody points out that he is on chemo and needs to be careful. When Lisa tells Kit he needs to go on sick leave he is furious and rails at Bernie for being over protective but was it down to her?
CARLA REFUSES TO GO DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT In Speed Daal, an excited Idris shows Leanne the factory floor plans and explains that once the money is through from the sale of the school land the factory will be theirs. Meanwhile Carla is touched when Sean, Izzy and Michael join her in the Rovers and tell her that they will do anything to help her get the factory back up and running.
RONNIE AVOIDS THE UNCERTAIN FUTURE Debbie tells Sally, Christina and Glenda she’d like their help with a project she’s working on and invites them round for a girlie session tomorrow. Glenda orders Christina and Sally to sort out their differences before Debbie’s party. Debbie tells Ronnie that they need to discuss her long term care whilst she’s still able to make decisions. Ronnie’s heartbroken at the very thought of it.
ELSEWHERE Spotting Kit, Sarah heads over and enquires how he’s doing. When Sarah admits she still thinks about him, Kit’s touched. Chesney assures Gemma that whatever her hospital results, they’ll deal with it together. As Gemma takes a call from the hospital, the family listens with baited breath.
