Are Moira and Matty gonna be able to get along as he decides to stick around?

Moira is determined to show she’s behind her son Matty but she’s jumpy when she thinks people are gossiping. Matty’s touched when Moira insists it’s her job to protect him and she’s relieved when Matty reckons he’ll stay a bit longer.
