Holly and Damon had the wedding from hell when it emmerged Cindy had slept with him and then Dirk died but this week he is hopeful of a fresh start after sharing a kiss with Holly, Damon is hopeful that they can rekindle their romance, but Holly is shocked by his optimism, and assures him they will not be getting back together and she doesn’t even want to be friends.

Meanwhile, Darren has enjoyed sneaking around with Mandy, but this week it seems he is having second thoughts. Nancy phones Darren upset after Brooke has a meltdown, he is quick to kick Mandy out of bed and rushes to be with them.
Later, he tells Nancy how he loves Brooke as if she is his own child, and thanks her for bringing her in to his life.
