River City spoilers: Monday 4th November 2019

This week in Shieldinch… an isolated Lenny discovers his future lies in the hands of a person from his past; Lou’s under pressure to keep her job; and Kelly-Marie goes head to head with Scarlett for Callum’s affections.

Lenny is stunned to be suddenly released from prison. But his mood darkens when a mysterious lawyer – Jill – forces Lenny to come with her, on orders of her boss – at gunpoint. When Lenny outwits Jill he’s in charge – and he wants answers.

Lenny doesn’t buy Jill’s clueless act and forces a meeting with her boss. However, nothing can prepare Lenny for the identity of the person who set him free from prison, and he confronts a shocking face from his past.

Elsewhere, Lou is shaken by the news that Lenny is walking the streets again. Fearing her days are numbered, Lou is under pressure – as DCI Grant tells her that the evidence against Lenny was most probably planted by a police officer.

When Lou discovers the police are looking for a surveillance camera at Amber Cabs she knows she needs to get hold of it before her colleagues do. If DCI Grant discovers the extent of Lou’s deception her police career will be over once and for all.

Kelly-Marie’s attempts to spend more time with her son Callum are thwarted by Scarlett, who is desperate to keep the pair apart. With mother and daughter at loggerheads, the pair go to great lengths to win the affections of Callum.
