As Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) continues to battle for Diane O’Connor (Alex Fletcher) it seems Edward Hutchinson (Joe McGann) is on the verge losing control when she declares that she would rather die then marry him.
As teased in the brand new Hollyoaks winter trailer it seems Edward is not happy with the rejection and viciously attacks Diane with a briefcase before later telling Tony she is dead. As Tony reels from the shock Edward offers him a mince pie ‘to die for’.

It seems Edward better watch out as Verity (Eva O’Hara) is shown telling someone “I won’t cover for him any more, I will destroy him.
Is Diane really dead and having attacked her will Edward finish off his son? or will anyone stop Edward before it is too late?
