Series creator Ffion Williams says:
“We’re very excited to see how the audience reacts to Ellie – a woman who doesn’t always follow the stereotype. She’s a mother who’s not always motherly, a friend who doesn’t always think, a surgeon who can’t always save a life, and a wife who’s not entirely dependable.”
Hannah is also looking forward to seeing how the audience respond to Ellie:
“It’s a challenging drama, that deals with major themes – grief, trauma, sex, marriage, the pressures of life, parenthood…and it pushes the boundaries of morality in a very extreme way! But again, without much criticism…Every single character by the end crosses a moral line – it will be interesting to see where audience criticism falls!”
