Even the strongest of relationships and lifelong friendships can disappear overnight when secrets, lies and deception come to light.

This is the story of when that day arrives. What happens when tragedy strikes and unleashes demons in Ellie that threaten the façade of her life and even the core of her sanity.

“On the surface Ellie is sorted. She has everything under control…And has chosen a sensible, conventional life path – career, husband, child, home,” said Hannah Daniel who plays Ellie.

Series creator Ffion Williams says:

“We’re very excited to see how the audience reacts to Ellie – a woman who doesn’t always follow the stereotype. She’s a mother who’s not always motherly, a friend who doesn’t always think, a surgeon who can’t always save a life, and a wife who’s not entirely dependable.”

Hannah is also looking forward to seeing how the audience respond to Ellie:

“It’s a challenging drama, that deals with major themes – grief, trauma, sex, marriage, the pressures of life, parenthood…and it pushes the boundaries of morality in a very extreme way! But again, without much criticism…Every single character by the end crosses a moral line – it will be interesting to see where audience criticism falls!”
