Tonight in Shieldinch… Rebecca resorts to desperate measures to get Angus’ attention; as Rory’s life hangs in the balance, Amber’s determined to step up; and, with debts mounting, Stevie contemplates other ways to make quick cash.
Rebecca and Angus plan to spend a rare day off together. Wanting Angus all to herself, Rebecca is stung when he announces he has plans with Kim. She puts on a brave face on it, but inside she is simmering with jealousy.
Later, Kim bumps into Rebecca and tries to reassure her there’s nothing to worry about – they’re just food friends. But Rebecca’s insecurities can’t be silenced, and she spins a web of lies to keep Angus close.
Elsewhere, Lenny’s stunned to discover Rory’s condition has drastically deteriorated and he might need a kidney transplant. Lenny decides to donate but Eve quickly reminds him that’s not possible – he has MS.
Lenny decides to conceal the seriousness of Rory’s condition from a worried Amber. As soon as she discovers the truth, Amber makes it clear there is only one option: she’ll donate a kidney to her brother.
Elsewhere, Sonny susses out the depth of Stevie’s debts and offers him a helping hand. Stevie rejects his offer, determined not to lose face.
At the Two Jailbirds, Stevie is tempted when he see that the till has been left open. Tyler questions whether he’s really stupid enough to steal from him and suggests a criminal solution to his debt problems.
Sensing Stevie is digging a deeper hole for himself, Sonny urges caution. Stevie assures him all is well but, truthfully, he’s worried about the new dangerous associates in his life.
