Monday 12 July

Liam’s distraught over Leanna’s death and Leyla tells Meena that the police don’t think Leanna’s death was suspicious. Relieved, Meena can’t resist a triumphal smile as she plays with the ring that she pried from Leanna’s lifeless body.

Gabby and Noah bond.

David has a re-think and is committed to Meena again.

David and Vic part as friends with a sad smile.

Tuesday 13 July

At the Humpback Bridge, Jacob, Gabby and Liv struggle with their guilt over Leanna’s death. When Gabby suggests a community memorial, they’re all on board. Later at the bridge, Liam becomes angry when he witnesses the start of the memorial. As Leyla tries to calm him, he blames Liv and Jacob for what happened, whilst Meena relishes the drama. Overcome with grief, he rips apart the flowers left at the scene. Later, Leyla’s shocked to discover Liam went to the chapel of rest alone to see Leanna. He tells her to spend the night at David’s, but she refuses to leave. Liam storms upstairs, leaving Leyla distraught.

Liv struggles with her overwhelming shame, guilt and despair.

Wednesday 14 July

Cain’s left thoughtful after witnessing a shattered Liam reject Charles’ attempts to console him. Later at the Cricket Pavilion, Cain reaches out to Liam in his own way. Liam’s grateful beyond words for Cain’s support. It’s touching as the two sit in silence, drinking together.

Mandy reads Jimmy the speech she’s prepared for the judge, he’s overcome with guilt and gratitude, and clumsily leans in for a kiss. Mandy returns the kiss before they spring apart. A mortified Jimmy’s instantly apologetic. Later, Nicola tries to make Jimmy see that his flustered testimony on the stand was that of an honest man, not a practiced liar. Guilty over his kiss with Mandy, he’s in turmoil as he rejects her positivity and goes to pack for prison.

Thursday 15 July – Episode One

Liam asks Jacob to help with Leanna’s things to try and make amends but Liam becomes distressed when Jacob starts asking after the ring he gave Leanna. Jacob’s distraught at the loss of the ring and David’s gutted for him, whereas Meena desperately tries to keep a poker face.

Meena’s thrilled when he finally asks her to move in with him.

Will Jimmy be found guilty?

Thursday 15 July – Episode Two

A broken Liam fights his inner turmoil as he surveys the river bank where Leanna was found. He drives away from the village.

April experiences a backlash online.

Friday 16 July

Leyla’s distressed that Liam will come to harm.

An exhausted Tracy pours out her feelings of inadequacy to Nate.
