Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) and Imran Habeeb (Charlie De Melo) have it all, newly engaged, a chance at adoption and finally for fans some screentime. However, with Charlie soon to exit the show it is only a matter of time before this happy little bubble is burst. With Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) about to discover the secret of baby Alfie’s parentage next week how much longer can he live his lie?

Both Imran and Abi are in a state of guilt as Toyah arrives at court to show her support. The local authority solicitor makes a list of reasons why Abi should get custody of Alfie and why He should be taken into care.

During Imran’s argument, Abi’s changed, and Imran is doing everything he can to prove this to the Judge. Will the judgement be in Abi’s favor?

“After the court case, we do have scenes where she questions how emotionally involved he’s become. Again, I don’t think she’s suspicious,” says Georgia Taylor who plays Toyah.

Rick’s body isn’t the only secret being dug up next week as Imran tells a pleased Toyah that he has set Abi up with a solicitor free of charge before secretly heading off with Abi to register Alfie’s birth. When Toyah bumps into Abi carrying a package (Alfie’s paperwork) and acting strangely she assumes she is back on drugs and warns Kevin who hunts for the package whilst Abi is making tea He discovers the birth certificate stating Imran is the father. How will he react?

Later Toyah and Imran sit down with the social worker to discuss adopting Elsie but is Imran’s world about to implode?

Toyah took the big step of taking Imran back. Do you think she would have done it if Elsie had not been around?

“That’s a really good question. I think Elsie was an enormous factor in the decision that she made. Obviously, the need for Toya to be a mum is something that has dominated the last few years of her life and it’s very much her priority and Elsie is her priority and, and definitely the idea of them being together and being a solid family unit would make it much easier to go through with the adoption of Elsie.”

“Toyah is going to have a huge conflict with her own conscience about thinking those things because fundamentally this is a woman who is damaged and an addict and who she would have helped in a previous life and has been helping,” says Georgia when asked if Toyah would feel pity for Abi.
