Big plans are in place as Nadira (Ashling O’Shea) plans on introducing girlfriend Juliet (Niamh Blackshaw) to her father. However, Peri (Ruby O’Donnell) is encouraged by Serena (Emma Lau) to take a risk on Juliet, so Peri wows her ex-fiancé donning her lucky dress. However, a mystery illness causes Juliet to feel sick and ask Nadira if they can postpone lunch with her dad.
Later, with Juliet continuing to feel sick, sparks fly with Peri being the one to take the tests. Juliet promises Nadira that she will make lunch with her dad, but when she goes back in to hospital, some concerning news from Misbah (Harvey Virdi) makes her miss lunch and Misbah informs Juliet that she needs a biopsy.

Nadira confronts Juliet for standing her and her dad up yesterday but is shocked with Juliet’s snappy response. Donna-Marie (Lucy-Jo Hudson) spots a text on Juliet’s phone and gathers that something is going on with Peri, pinning her strange behaviour on her love woes.
Juliet breaks down to Misbah and an appointment for her biopsy is made for later that day. Later, Nadira tells Juliet she’s rearranged dinner with her dad to tonight, but an emotional Juliet hides the truth about her biopsy.

Peri wants to know what’s next, but Juliet just snaps at her. Juliet’s given support when Ste (Kieron Richardson) finds a leaflet dropped by Juliet, and after realising what’s going on, supports her for her hospital appointment, and James (Gregory Finnegan) rushes to be by her side. When the results come back just what will they say?

Following the outcome of the test it’s a tough time for all as Juliet continues to push Peri away, telling her she doesn’t want to be with her or Nadira. And in emotional scenes, Ste reassures Peri, whilst James comforts Juliet.
