Today: Justin prepares for the worst when the judge decides his fate. Bree’s insecurities about her lack of intimacy with Remi resurface. Tane is thrilled by a surprise visitor.
The judge has decided Justin’s fate, and he prepares for the worst. Offering his heartfelt goodbyes to Theo and then their friends, Justin is all but resigned to a stint behind bars as he and Leah set off to face court. Both Justin and Leah are stunned then, when the judge instead sentences him to 500 hours of community service and court mandated counselling.
Theo is elated to see Justin return a free man, and while daunted by the prospect of juggling work with his community service hours, Justin is determined not to let his second chance go to waste. Apologising to his family for putting them through so much, Justin vows to learn from his mistake – he’s going to change.
Bree’s insecurities about her and Remi’s lack of intimacy have resurfaced. Confiding in Rose, Bree admits to missing her carefree, spontaneous side and laments her inability to move past her ordeal with Jacob. At home, Remi assures Bree that it doesn’t matter how slowly they move, he’s not going anywhere. Touched by his devotion, Bree leads him into the bedroom.
Tane is thrilled when his cousin Kahu surprises him and immediately invites him to stay. Felicity is less than enthused, but thaws when she sees how happy the time with his cousin is making Tane. Felicity is left shocked however when Kahu puts himself forward for a permanent job with Tane!
