In a surprising turn of events, Jean attempts to play cupid between Stacey and Theo, but little does she know that Stacey has been trying to hide her genuine interest in him. However, as the days pass, it becomes increasingly clear that Stacey is secretly attracted to Theo.

Despite her initial hesitation about setting up a date with Theo, Stacey becomes more determined when Martin disapproves of the idea. His disapproval only strengthens her resolve to go through with the plan.

The fateful day arrives, and Stacey and Theo meet at Walford East. However, things take a slightly awkward turn as Stacey fails to feel that elusive connection she had hoped for.

Unaware of Stacey’s mixed feelings, Eve, who had the impression that the date went well, boldly asks Theo to be Stacey’s plus-one at Kathy’s upcoming wedding. This unexpected development leaves Stacey’s best friend in shock.

Feeling the need to set the record straight, Stacey confesses to Eve that there was no spark with Theo. She even reveals that the dream she had been gushing about was about Martin, not Theo! As Eve contemplates the future of her relationship with Martin, Stacey is left deep in thought about her own feelings.

However, the drama doesn’t stop there. Eve realizes that Stacey hasn’t yet uninvited Theo to the wedding, but the truth is, Stacey’s mind is preoccupied with thoughts of Martin. In a bid to get Martin’s attention, she tries to flirt with him at The Vic, but it seems he remains oblivious to her advances.

Later, Stacey decides to take matters into her own hands. She musters up the courage to ask Martin to be her plus-one at the wedding, ultimately choosing to ditch Theo.

As the wedding day approaches, tensions rise, and the love triangle intensifies. Will Stacey’s decision to choose Martin over Theo lead to a romantic reunion, or will it lead to even more complications?
