So here we are, a little more than a year from the ‘final’ episode of our beloved Australian soap “Neighbours”, but thanks to Amazon Freevee, it’s back – and better than you could possibly imagine.
While time for the resident of Ramsay Street has moved forward by two years, the core elements that made the show as good as it ever was – drama, love, and togetherness – remain very much a part of “Neighbours” in these new episodes.
There is so much packed into the series’ opening episodes that fans will appreciate. And if you are only just getting into the show for the first time, then you’ll quickly find yourself brought up to date with what the new and long-term residents have been getting up to during their time off-screen.
Fans will be pleased to know that Harold, Karl, Susan, Paul and many others that have put years into their characters haven’t had personality changes that ruin them.
In the final Channel 5 episode Susan said ‘How do you begin to describe a street, Do you talk about the houses? Or do you talk about the people? The young, the old and everyone in between.
There’s nothing but a real sense of love and community among the Ramsay Street residents and it certainly comes across from the cast they still have a lot of love for this show, and long may it continue.
