Magda arrives at Al’s house for a physio session. Emma has sent Magda to check Al’s knee. Al declares he doesn’t need help, but Magda won’t budge; she’s staying. Magda questions Al about getting around. She bluntly encourages him to go to the shops with her, get some exercise, and keep his knee moving, but he gets out of it, arguing that exercise can be done inside. Later, when Magda has left, promising a future visit, Al calls Emma to indignantly accuse her of scheming and interfering with his life.

Hugo and Daniel (BBC)

After a game of golf with Daniel, Hugo tries to persuade Daniel that he is in the right and he shouldn’t let Zara walk all over him. Hugo thinks Daniel should fight back, blaming Zara because she kissed Miles. Daniel gets annoyed, admitting that Zara might have a point and that his judgement hasn’t been pristine recently. When he arrives home, Zara has a document for him to sign.

Kat arrives home after an all-night lock-in. She encourages her daughter, Molly, to find a man, but upon the discovery of baby items, she thinks Molly is pregnant. Kat calls Beth, Molly’s sister, to tell her that Molly’s pregnant, then brings her into the Mill, where Beth meets them. Kat and Beth argue over Molly’s wellbeing. Beth accuses Kat of never having been a grownup or a responsible mom. Kat argues that she gave Molly and Beth the best years of her life. Kat thinks being a mum will give Molly a purpose in life. Emma speaks with Kat and Molly, informing them that Molly isn’t pregnant. When Molly confesses that the baby, whom she’s named Libby, talks to her, Emma becomes concerned about her mental health. Beth and Kat row, and Beth finally declares that Kat’s never been much of a mum. Beth takes Molly to the hospital, while Emma speaks to Kat about how Molly’s going to need long-term support.
