Greg struggles with the weight of his secret. Babs advises Victor against buying dodgy Halloween gear for resale. Greg’s curt attitude raises Jess and Babs’ suspicions. Victor covers for Greg’s moodiness with Babs, insisting it’s just pre-baby jitters. Victor urges Greg to pull himself together. Ruby persuades Victor to let her be his sales partner.
Pete asks Dolores for help with cover at the garage but she’s too busy. Pete continues to conceal his back problems from Dolores. Pete struggles to balance work and minding baby Nora with his sore back. Pete makes excuses to leave baby Nora with Dolores and searches the internet for back pain relief.
Carol urges Sharon to tell Hayley the truth about James, but Sharon is hesitant without more evidence. Sharon tells Hayley she believes James was involved with the kidnapping and advises her to leave him. Hayley dismisses Sharon’s concerns. Carol reassures Sharon that James will slip up and Hayley will learn the truth.
