Haz is torn about his sister’s request for him to return with her to WA. On one hand, he’s elated to be reunited with her and learn his parents have forgiven him for all his past wrongdoings. But on the other hand, he’s elated to learn how Mackenzie and his friends have cared for him while he’s been in the coma, particularly in relation to keeping his business afloat. They obviously don’t hate him for his past actions as much as he thought they would. Ultimately, Haz’s decision to stay or go rests on one question. Can Mackenzie definitively forgive him and stop comparing him to Hendrix?

Sadie continues to struggle with the burden of keeping Victor’s secret, especially when the whole family comes together for a family brunch. Later, Sadie randomly mentions to Wendy that she still thinks about the damaging consequences from the Vme when she kept secrets for Paul Robinson. Finding this strange, Wendy brings it up with Byron and Victor. Why would Sadie still be thinking about that? Byron has no idea, but Victor suddenly realises the unintentional burden he’s unfairly placed on Sadie’s shoulders.

On a casual solo bike ride, Karl catches a glimpse of the real public pooper, and although he can’t see the perpetrator’s face, it’s definitely a cyclist in a YAHMIL jersey. Determined to clear his “Dr. Pooper” name and bring the true culprit to justice, Karl enlists Aaron’s help to infiltrate the YAHMILs. Aaron does his best but fails to uncover any information, forcing Karl to go to greater lengths to clear his name.

Meanwhile, Byron has noticed Sadie’s increasing discomfort around his father and suspects it’s because of his father’s “overly charming” personality. So when he comes across Victor and Sadie alone, and Sadie is in tears, he leaps to the wrong conclusion. Now aware of the unintentional burden he’s placed on Sadie and eager to defend himself to his son, Victor decides to come clean about the secret he’s been trying to hide.
