In the wake of Susan’s incident in Eirini Rising’s courtyard, Karl and Terese rush to her side. Wanting to appear back to normal, Susan powers through her private distress. But when she returns to work, she can no longer hide her unease, and she later confesses her deepest fears to a worried Karl.
Mackenzie, Byron, and Haz are confronted to find a ‘For Sale’ sign on their front lawn. Desperate not to move, they rack their brains to come up with a solution, sending them through a rollercoaster of emotions. Will the housemates have to leave their beloved home?
Terese is feeling the stress of the ongoing safety breaches at Eirini Rising, and with Toadie still away, is only just managing to hold all the balls in the air. When Andrew senses her worry, Terese confesses she’s fearful she’s made a terrible mistake: her venture was supposed to bring positivity to the community, but it seems to have been cursed from day dot.
When Vic overhears Nicolette and Byron fearing Jane isn’t as commifed to the wedding as she should be, he visits Jane just as she takes off her engagement ring to clean. As Vic posits that the people who love Jane have noticed she’s engaged to a man who keeps pushing back his return date, an incensed Jane asserts Vic has no place talking about her personal life. Bold, Vic asks the question: why are she and Mike not together if they are so in love? Confronted, Jane shuts down the conversation and asks Vic to leave, but she’s left stewing on her ex’s astute perceptions. Later, Jane can’t find her engagement ring and furiously jumps to a conclusion…
