Drama Unfolds as Kat and Alfie Try to Discipline Tommy Amid School Absences

Kat and Alfie are at their wit’s end when they discover Tommy has been skipping school. Their frustration grows as they find out from the school about his frequent absences. The mystery deepens when Alfie tracks Tommy down to the Boxing Den, where he catches him sparring with Phil. Furious, Alfie orders Tommy back to the laundrette to start his summer job.
However, Tommy’s summer plans take a turn when he spies Harvey secretly giving Maya money, jumping to the conclusion that Harvey is cheating on Jean. This discovery sends Tommy straight to No.55, where he pleads with Phil to reconcile with Kat.
Tommy’s attempts to play matchmaker see him skipping his summer job again, causing a showdown at No.55. A furious Kat arrives, leading to a heated row between her and Phil as she declares their relationship is ancient history. Kat orders Tommy home, sparking a massive argument between mother and son.
Back at No.31, Kat tries to talk to Tommy, but their conversation quickly turns into another explosive row. Tommy’s refusal to apologise for his earlier outburst prompts Kat to cancel their holiday plans. Alfie attempts to mediate, but Kat remains tight-lipped about the argument, leaving Alfie to focus on entertaining the twins.
