Cash walks Eden to work, still very much in their honeymoon phase, but they’re soon forced apart – needing to go and support others who need them. Abigail updates Eden about Levi, and they both worry for him, and wonder how long Mackenzie plans to be away from their workplace, as well as their brother. Cash checks in with Tane who explains David did a personal check-in with him regarding his suspended sentence. And what he said got in Tane’s head. Cash convinces him that it’s possible Jo might give him a second chance, but is called away – to the hospital…
Levi’s world at work is unravelling. He apologises to both Bree and Jo for what’s happened, but it’s too late for that. Bree is personally offended – he might have sabotaged everything she’s been working toward to keep the staff safe. Bree explains to Jo the severity of what his actions could mean – he’ll be stood down, and he might even lose his career, and it’s no excuse, but he is dealing with a lot right now. Levi hits rock bottom when Cash arrives – to arrest him.
At the station, Cash talks Levi through the process. He notifies Eden, who arrives just as Levi’s mugshots are being taken. Eden tries to reason with her brother – this isn’t you. And Levi takes full responsibility for his actions but admits Mackenzie abandoning him hasn’t helped. Eden’s moved to call Mackenzie and let her know Levi’s been arrested.
Marilyn is yet to take a break today and Alf’s getting worried. He threatens to call Leah to come and help but Marilyn’s determined not to be a burden. Alf presses once more, but clearly Marilyn is refusing to listen to him, so he dismisses himself. Late in the day, Marilyn picks up a call from Leah and assures her she’ll have time to re-sort the rosters, but not long after she hangs up, it all catches up with Marilyn, and she passes out, falling unconscious to the floor…
Finally, Jo feels the urge to get back to Tane, ready to meet up. They meet on the beach, and she gives him one final shot – does he want her or not? Tane replies that he very much does. And they’re going to take this somewhere private.
