In this episode of River City…while Kelly-Marie helps Michaela remember her dad, she’s left reeling by a confrontation with Chris; Mikey suspects Mack is avoiding him following their kiss; and while Mulvaney worries about Harry’s arrival in prison, Lenny takes a different approach with Lydia.
Michaela tells Kelly-Marie she’s been thinking about her dad, Gabriel. Kelly-Marie suggests they do something to celebrate Gabriel and decides to throw an impromptu party, inviting Nicole and Conor.
However, the celebrations stall after Chris discovers Kelly-Marie made a business decision without telling him. It leads to a confrontation, stirring up troubles from their past. When Nicole gets wind of this, she spots a victim to blackmail.
Elsewhere, Mikey fears he’s being ghosted by Mack after their kiss and decides to confront him. He’s stunned by Mack’s suggestion he’s coming on too strong and is clearly on the rebound.
Lenny visits Mulvaney in prison who reveals his concern Harry is rumoured to be moving to his wing. Although their meeting starts off confrontational, Harry eases after he recruits Mulvaney to he his eyes and ears against any potential attacks inside.
When Mulvaney confides in his cellmate Francis it results in a surprising altercation.
At home, Lenny realises he needs to be more patient and understanding of Lydia’s concerns, afterall, she’s always been there for him in times of trouble.
