Eden has reemerged from her cocoon after tending to her illness. She’s grateful, taking stock of this moment as she strolls with Cash. They arrive at the Surf Club where John and Mali are pleased to see her out and about. They arrive for food at Salt, but she asks Cash if they can get takeaway as she’s getting tired. They cuddle up on the couch, and Eden laments how difficult it is to live any semblance of a normal life when she gets exhausted as soon as she leaves the couch. John turns up to the house to let Cash know that he doesn’t have to carry the burden of helping Eden alone.
Cash says that there’s only so much he can do – the only person that could help her is someone that’s going through exactly the same thing. John muses that surely someone out there in the world can relate to Eden… There’s a support group for everything. This seeds an idea for Cash. That evening he opens up his laptop and searches aplastic anaemia support groups. He types out a message, explaining his situation on the forum, and posts it.
