Murder in a world of lies, anger and revenge
The dark crime drama Craith returns to S4C on Sunday, November 17 – and this time the terrible events that tear apart a close north Wales community are more shocking than ever.
The murder of a former teacher brings DCI Cadi John (Siân Reese-Williams) and DS Owen Vaughan (Siôn Alun Davies) back to the bleak and remote mountains of Blaenau Ffestiniog and into a world of lies, neglect and revenge.
But it’s not the monster in the woods that’s the villain this time, but a group of young people who live as part of the community in Blaenau Ffestiniog – Mia Owen (Annes Elwy), Connor Pritchard (Steffan Cennydd) and Lee Williams (Siôn Eifion).
Unlike many crime dramas, we get to know who the murderers are from the very beginning and we follow their story and the development of their characters through the investigation.
At the same time, the series delves deeper into the lives of Cadi and Vaughan as they come to terms with huge changes in their lives – Cadi with the death of her father and Vaughan with the birth of his daughter.
Craith returns to S4C, Sunday 17th November at 9pm
