In next week’s episodes of Coronation Street, Gemma Winter finds herself in hot water after a series of unfortunate events put her in a difficult position.

Monday’s episode begins with a furious Beth Tinker confronting Gemma for jeopardizing little Bertie’s safety. Beth drops a bombshell by revealing that she reported Gemma to social services. As if things couldn’t get any worse, Mandy, a stern social worker, pays Gemma an unexpected visit. Gemma is forced to admit that she was responsible for six children at the time of the incident, even though she isn’t a registered childminder. Mandy is appalled by this revelation and warns Gemma about the serious repercussions she might face, including a substantial fine.

As the week progresses, Gemma finds herself consumed by worry over her financial situation. Unable to sleep, she confides in Jenny, who comes up with an intriguing suggestion. Jenny proposes that Gemma reach out to her ex, Henry Newton, who happens to be in search of new staff. However, Gemma hesitates, fearing that Chesney won’t approve of her decision.
By Friday, tensions escalate when Beth once again berates Gemma for the danger she put Bertie in. Frustrated and concerned, Chesney decides to take action. He enlists the help of his loyal friend Kirk, asking him to intervene and persuade Beth to back off. Kirk reminds Beth of the challenges Gemma is currently facing with Paul and emphasizes her genuine remorse for her mistake. Will Beth be swayed by Kirk’s plea and give Gemma a break?

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1
