Ryan discovers that his vials of steroids have leaked, causing him distress. Carla encourages him to go out and have lunch with Alya. During their lunch, Alya notices that Ryan seems preoccupied.
Later, Ryan hides a needle in his hand when Carla enters his bedroom, but once she leaves, he vents his anger by punching a wardrobe.
After going for a run, Ryan experiences heart palpitations and collapses. Gary comes to his aid and suspects that Ryan has taken something in addition to an energy drink.
