They say ‘lightning never strikes twice’ except for Sharon in Walford; that’s exactly what has happened. First her dad, the legendary Dirty ‘Den’ Watts, and now Keanu Taylor, murdered and buried under the floor of a local business.

The laws of soap dictate that your crimes, sooner or later, will come back to haunt you.

In 2005, after messing with his wife Chrissie Watts, Zoe Slater, and Sam Mitchell, it was Den who lived up to his final line: ‘You’ll never get me out of The Vic’ when Chrissie finished him off with a doggy doorstop borrowed from Pauline Fowler and promptly had him buried under The Queen Vic barrel store.

After blaming Zoe for months, it was Sam who finally snapped, hurting Tracy in the process, and took an axe to the floor to uncover him – leading to her arrest.

While Denise might not have killed Keanu, it was her husband Lucas who killed and buried her ex-husband Owen in the middle of Albert Square during their wedding celebrations back in 2009.

When Trina’s memorial tree was damaged in 2010, Owen’s body was unearthed. For Denise, that led to a whole load of trouble, with Lucas confessing to his crimes and later kidnapping her, holding her captive in the cellar next door – the locals believing she was dead.
