Later, Karl, Susan and Remi try to shut down Holly’s theory that he might be the poisoner, and Haz and Mackenzie are similarly dubious about Holly’s theory. Determined to keep digging and prove that she’s right, Holly keeps a close eye on Dr Bowman…
Wendy glumly admits that she’s having trouble finding her social groove at university; she’s too scared to speak in class for fear of sounding too “Wendy”, and as a consequence no-one in her classes knows that she’s alive. Andrew encourages Wendy to just be herself, and with nothing to lose, Wendy gives it a go, and quickly makes new friends with Parker and their friends. Parker invites Wendy to drinks, and Wendy’s reticent, wondering if she’ll be able to keep up… Again, Andrew encourages her to give it a go and Wendy lets her down, embracing the university life that she missed out on in her twenties…
Cara and Remi both feel like it’s groundhog day after JJ is caught redhanded with the stolen items from Eirini Rising. Despite JJ’s protestations that he’s innocent, they both feel as though they can’t trust their gut feeling anymore, given how many times JJ has let them down in the past. When Nell discovers that JJ has pointed the finger at Jasmine, she calls her friends and insists Jasmine be honest. JJ is relieved when Terese informs him that Jasmine has come clean… JJ is off the hook. JJ thanks Nell for her help, and the spark between them is re-kindled. But they fight it because of Dex.
