In this edition… It’s late night in Newcastle city centre and Sergeant Dave Roberts follows a car being driven erratically. When he puts his blue lights on, the car refuses to stops, leading to a heart-stopping pursuit through the streets of Newcastle. The chase comes to an abrupt end when the car crashes into a shop. Both female occupants make a run for it, one ends up flat on the floor but the other makes the cops play hide and seek… but why have they refused to stop and what evidence awaits in a handbag?
On the other side of Newcastle, PC Jamie Leslie spots a driver with her foot down. When he pulls the car over he discovers the driver is full of excuses. To make matters worse, she owns a restaurant and stinks of booze! When Jamie tries to get her to do a roadside breath test, another excuse comes out, she claims the results won’t be accurate because she has a cold. But what does she score when she finally blows?
In Sunderland, PC Martain Anderson is on the hunt for a transit van linked to diesel thefts. After chasing shadows, he eventually spots it and gets the van stopped, but the driver is less than happy. Even after barrels of diesel are found in the back of the van, the driver claims it’s all legit and his main priority is to light up his fag. But Martin’s decides this is not the best conditions for a cigarette break.
