Billy doubles down and tells Dawn he saw Joe attack him, despite Dawn’s disbelief that Joe would traumatise the kids. Dawn is devastated but accepts Billy’s assertion and blames herself, feeling trapped by carrying Joe’s baby. Billy proposes that they run away as a family, noting Dawn’s previous plans to escape the village.
