Home and Away airs on 5STAR at 6:30pm
While Cash and Eden settle in with a movie, Levi reports back to Abigail that they have to hold off visiting. He tries to convince Abigail that if it was an emergency, Cash would’ve let them know but Abigail’s concerns escalate and she calls her sister anyway. Eden’s honest – she and Cash are no longer at the hospital, they’re at home. But unfortunately, they’re not allowed visitors so she’s not sure when that means they can see each other again. Levi and Abigail say goodbye from the other end of the phone.
Late at night, Cash calls Levi who mentions Eden’s parents got their tests back and neither are a match to donate for Eden either. That only adds to Cash’s worries about how isolated Eden is feeling, even though she’s back at home… so they hatch a plan.
The next morning, Levi has prepared a breakfast platter and brought Abigail outside to welcome a surprise visit from Cash and Eden. There’s no touching or hugging, but at least they’re all together. The sibling rivalry is strong amongst the Fowler’s, and Cash is just pleased to see Eden happy. As the meal winds up, Levi gets a phone call with bad news – he’s also not a match for Eden. Eden takes it bravely, reinforcing it’s nobody’s fault.
Although when Abigail is alone with Levi, she beats herself up, feeling guilty because of her history with drugs that means they’ll never know if she’s a match. Separately, Eden confides in Cash her disappointment. She was really hoping it would be big brother to the rescue, but Cash tries to keep her focused on being hopeful.
Amelia has welcomed David into her motel room, though it’s awkward when she only has a single mug to share the wine. But they share amusement about the situation and happily move onto the part that usually comes after the wine… After some intimate time together, Amelia shares a story from her past that put her at odds with the police, but feels fine with them now, thanks to David. He’s pleased but has to wind things up and see his daughters – he wants to make sure he keeps things as easy as possible for them.
Lacey wakes up Jo, explaining her concerns that David has gone to Amelia’s place, and is even more upset once she realises he stayed there overnight. Jo tries to keep her calm, reminding her of how it feels when the situation is reversed. When David arrives home, Jo is amused but Lacey is upset and excuses herself, heading to work. David makes sure he checks in with Lacey, but she tries to keep it positive – she does want things with Amelia to work out for him.
Later David finds Amelia at the beach, and they share a romantic kiss in the dunes. He’s pleased to report that Lacey said the right things, and Jo’s on board. And what that means for them is they can keep moving forward… as long as for the time being, any rendezvous can occur at her place? Amelia is very okay with that plan.
